In their latest blog post, Amplitude showcased the May release of their Web Analytics Space. I took a close look and was impressed.

The feature set is quite modest, with only four sections: Traffic By Channel, Traffic By Campaign, Page Engagement, and Conversions. However, Amplitude's smooth, user-friendly UI is something special. It's a pleasure to work with a tool designed with users in mind: convenient report and metric tabs, easily manageable settings, and the ability to add filter parameters in preset checkboxes (which is just amazing :))).

Unfortunately, working with most other web analytics products (you know which ones I mean) feels like survival rather than work. The hashtag#GA4 interface, among others, leaves much room for frustration, driving many analysts, including myself, to work with raw data. However, if Amplitude manages to handle most of my (read: client) JTBD scenarios, I will wholeheartedly support this service for website marketing analytics.
